HE HAS MY TATTOO IN HIS PALM

All these pains that flow my path like river;
To mar my soul with its fury furnace of fire,
Still my soul is strengthened with  much power,
cause I know God is for me,
For He has my tattoo in his palm.

If he has my name tattooed in his palm,
Why then should I worry about this economic crisis?
Why then should I fear these times as they come phthisis?
Of endless struggles,
Yet, all I get is endless troubles.

His loyalty for me each day a reality,
Is not because I am in the state of perfection,
Despite my inadequacy,
He proves his love even when I am nonreciprocal with great degree of affection,
Cause he has my tattoo on his palm.

Though I’m tired in this journey,
He picks me up on his shoulder, for he knows I am pococurante.
When I’m discouraged to fight my battle,
He stood instead to fight for me with so much struggle,
Cause he has my tattoo in his palm.

If he has a calendar,
My birthday will be circled on it,
If he has a car,
I know my nomenclature would be scribbled on his bumper,
Cause he has my name tattooed in his palm.

If there were trees in heaven;
I know he’d inscribe my name on their barks,
I know there’d be golden crowns in heaven,
He will write my name on mine,
Cause he has my tattoo in his palm.
