Butterflies Flying in My Belly
When I met you yesterday,
I felt like it was a new day,
Yes, I daydreamed we’d be alone at the bay.
Why these feelings that make me seem a greenhorn?
Maybe it’s your thoughts that order;
these butterflies flying in my belly.
If only these thoughts of you;
could serve as antidote to my worries,
I’ll be the happiest living human to find you.
‘cause with you I’ll forever forget all my painful stories.
If only you could cleanse all my pain away,
I’m cocksure all my worries will be crushed this day.
Last night when I met you,
I went home feeling like a baby,
I could see myself already as your boo.
Be my gracious lady,
And I’ll relish each day,
Like some make believe plays.
These butterflies flying in my belly,
Kills my appetite for food.
It takes the centre stench of my brain;
Shooting magic like a telly,
It runs a downpour of joy like a flood on this dude.
I wish these butterflies don’t become bats overtime.
